Micro-dosing With CBD and Cannabinoids – Finding Your Balance

What is the right amount for you? The right amount of CBD or cannabinoids differs from person to person. Figuring out the dose that gives you the desired effect you’re looking for is important to for proper pain management and inflammation. Some over the counter pain relievers work mostly the same with everyone; with some give or take. But with CBD, everyone’s endocannabinoid system is very different. Therefore, CBD users need to start off slow and do their own experimentation to find the right CBD dosages.
Most people used more than they originally needed. If this sounds like you and you experienced unwanted side effects such as anxiety, sleepiness, and headaches, you may have started with too high a dose. It is recommended to start CBD or any cannabinoid product “low and slow”. From our research, most manufacturers recommend starting with a daily dose of 20mg. Keep in mind your body mass, the food in your system at the time of ingestion and your sensitivity to foreign chemicals. This will allow you to build a tolerance and develop your cannabinoid receptors. This is what’s commonly referred to as the “balance”, then you will be able to manage your pain more effectively.

CBD & Migraines: Can it help?

June is Migraine Awareness Month. Millions of people suffer from this devastating and sometimes crippling illness including children. According to research done by Dr. Lawrence Newman, director of the Division of Headache at NYU Langone Medical Center in NYC,

“There are over 40 million Americans

who suffer from migraines”.

Treatment options can span from botox injections, laser treatment and sometimes even surgery.  Those who are looking for a more natural and holistic treatment option tend to use herbal supplements, dietary changes, lifestyle changes and fitness routines like yoga.

However, more and more people are turning to CBD or Medical Cannabis for relief now that CBD has become a legal medical treatment. Migraine sufferers now have hope they can live their daily lives in less pain.

Forbes Magazine did an article on a recent study that monitored patients who suffer from migraines and cluster headaches. The research done showed that patients who used CBD had a significant reduction in overall symptoms. Including, those who were able to dampen the effect of an onset migraine.

How to know if you suffer from Migraines:

+ You have a Chronic Migraine have 15 or more headache days a month.

+ You have a Chronic Migraine, each a headache lasts 4 hours or more.

+ A chronic Migraine means at least 8 headache days a month, associated with a migraine.
